White Wines
2022 Seyval Blanc Skins
Fermented on the skins for seven days to impart greater tannins, this estate-grown seyval blanc was aged in stainless and is lush with pear and apple aromas and flavors, while a hint of floral in the background gives an intriguing complexity to this white wine that dances across the tongue.
2019 Seyval Blanc
A 2022 Virginia Governor’s Cup Silver Medal winner! This is a fuller-bodied dry white that was aged for 24 months in second-year American oak and features natural acidity that has been balanced by slight malolactic fermentation. Look for freshness and creaminess on the palate balanced by soft notes of oak.
2018 Run For The Rose
A soft, smooth rosé with melon and tropical fruit on the nose, strawberry and rhubarb on the palate, and just 0.2% residual sugar. This rosé features red Bordeaux grapes from across the Commonwealth that were cool fermented in stainless steel to preserve and highlight the wine’s crisp acidity and delicate flavors.
Red Wines
Felix
This dry, lighter-bodied blend of estate-grown Chambourcin, Petit Verdot, and Seyval Blanc was named for one of our original winery cats. With hard candy, fruit, and oak on the nose, noteworthy tannins, and approachable flavors such as almond and cherry, you’ll love this wine as much as we loved our Felix!
2020 Country
Crafted from equal parts of estate-grown Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chambourcin, and Dornfelder that was aged for 36 months in 75% new American oak and 25% new Hungarian oak, this vibrant red blend has a rich nose of leather, dark red fruit, and sweet oak while its complex palate features well-integrated tannins with a lingering finish.
Headquarters at Narrow Passage
Our winemaker aged part of our 2017 Chambourcin harvest in bourbon barrels and left it unfiltered, giving the wine notes of vanilla and spice while maintaining the grape’s lighter body and fruit-forward flavors. The label features John Paul Strain’s artful depiction of a historical moment from the Shenandoah Valley.
