White Wines
2019 Seyval Blanc
A 2022 Virginia Governor’s Cup Silver Medal winner! This is a fuller-bodied dry white that we aged for 24 months in second-year American oak and features natural acidity that has been balanced by slight malolactic fermentation. Look for freshness and creaminess on the palate balanced by soft notes of oak.
2016 Chardonnay
A Featuring grapes from hilltop vineyards, this chardonnay was aged for 6 months in 1/3 new French oak and underwent full malolactic fermentation, creating a creamy medium-bodied wine with notes of citrus, pear, and almonds. You will find a flavorful front and clean finish while its moderate acidity makes this a versatile food pairing wine.
2018 Run for the Rosé
A soft, smooth rosé with melon and tropical fruit on the nose, strawberry and rhubarb on the palate, and just 0.2% residual sugar. This rosé features red Bordeaux grapes from across the Commonwealth that were cool fermented in stainless steel to preserve and highlight the wine’s crisp acidity and delicate flavors.
Red Wines
Barrel fermented with 13% New French Oak, 13% two-year-old oak, and 13% one-year-old oak then aged on its fermentation lees (yeast). This lightly oaked Chardonnay completed partial malolactic fermentation, which produces a creamy finish.
2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
Showcasing grapes from Carter’s Mountain, this is a medium- to fuller-bodied dry red with oak on the nose and an abundance of fruit on the palate. It was barrel fermented and aged for 16 months in 1/3 new French oak, 1/3 second year oak, and 1/3 neutral oak.
2020 Chambourcin
A light-bodied, complex red made from estate-grown grapes aged for 36 months in new American oak. Expect bright fruit, subtle oak and tannins, and lower acidity with hints of graham cracker and cream.
2016 Petit Verdot
This bold red wine was softened by aging in French oak prior to being cellared. Look for rich dried fruit on the nose and pronounced tannins throughout. Try it with a well-aged cheese!
Food
We always have a selection of tasty snacks on hand including cheeses from Shenandoah Valley Family Farms and Hunter's Reserve game sausages. These are delicious on top of a Ritz or one of the variety of Olina's Bakehouse Crackers (some are even gluten free).
Or, feel free to bring your own food and have something to eat while you enjoy our wine.
